At our location in Dortmund, we have a full-time vacancy as soon as possible as

Charged-Particle Systems Designer (m/f/d)

● Design and simulation of electron and ion columns for nanostructuring and imaging
● Design and development of technical demonstrators for the functional verification of novel components and systems in close cooperation with the team members from hardware and system development
● Performing development projects from the idea to the product launch
● Preparation of technical documentation
● Implementation of employee training for knowledge transfer
● Occasional international travel to conferences as well as to support client applications

● Degree in physics or equivalent
● Experience in simulation and realization of charged-particle optics
● Knowledge of vacuum/high-voltage technology and mechatronics is an advantage
● Experience in electron-beam lithography or SEM application knowledge is desired
● Knowledge of project management is an advantage
● Enjoying technological challenges, high commitment, ability to work in a team, and communication skills
● Fluent in English, German language skills are advantageous
