Gentlemen when I started to play this telecaster last night it was a shock. I had never played on somethin like that before. I knew the pickups inside. There are japanese pickups from the 80s, believe it or not they are disastrous. Not disastrous in a bad way, they just kill everything. They make you crazy I'm not joking, and japanese were not joking too. They were very serious and that's why they have made this masterpiece. Yes the body is basswood or sen, but this is a masterpiece in term of finition, sound, intelligence in the work. It's a lesson, it takes you away. TL52 model had the same pickups, and probably TL62 models too. This is terrible, pickups are so sensitive it dries you then it floods into you. It's the goddamn fender sound and you can't have better for 40 years, 50 maybe even, but I've never tried 70s pickups. In term of lacquer, finition, it's as good as a 70s telecaster if not better. AVRI telecaster are good but they lack of smoothness and authenticity in their finition. The guy that will buy this model is lucky in my guitarist's opinion, sometimes I want to keep a model but if I was doing it I would keep almost all instruments I receive from Japan. This guitar is a pure japanese guitar.

The state is excellent, only minor marks and scratches, the frets are very thin and as new, that's the best frets when they are thin like that, sure the medium jumbo is fun but the true deal is frets as thin as possible.
