It's with a heavy heart that I have to leave my shared flat after four wonderful years, as I'm moving to another city to do my doctorate. I am therefore looking for a new tenant for my cosy 20m² room in our friendly 3-person shared flat from the beginning of June. The pension includes €356 warm rent (incl. heating), €60 electricity, €13 internet, GEZ/3 and your share of the household contents insurance (this insures the flat and everything in it).

Your new room:
Look forward to a spacious 20sqm room that offers plenty of space for living and studying thanks to its rectangular layout. The two large windows provide a bright atmosphere and can be perfectly darkened with the existing blinds. So you can study undisturbed or enjoy some peace and quiet.

Shared flat living on two levels:
The flat is spread over two floors and therefore offers plenty of space and privacy. On the ground floor, next to your room, there is the cosy living room, the large kitchen and Tim's room. Bibhuti's room, bathroom, toilet and storage room are in the basement.

Chill out, party, cook and relax together:
The centrepiece of our shared flat is the approx. 26m² living room. Here you can comfortably watch films together, organise games evenings or even have a party. The couch, living room table and TV are already there, so you can feel right at home.
In the large kitchen, you have enough space to cook and eat together. The window to the hallway also makes it nice and bright and invites you to linger.
The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub - perfect for relaxing after a long day. Particularly practical: the WC and bathroom are separate from each other.

Central location:
The flat share is located in a quiet side street, but still very central. The bus station, the hub of almost all buses in Aachen, is approx. 4 minutes away. Supermarkets (e.g. Netto approx. 4 minutes away), cafés, restaurants and the university are all within walking distance. So you can enjoy the advantages of short distances and have peace and quiet at the same time.


In our shared flat you will get to know Tim and Bibhuti, your new flatmates, with whom you can enjoy a relaxed and sociable shared flat life.

Tim: The good mood guarantor! Tim is doing his Master's in Political Science and has been living in our shared flat for over 5 years. He is currently writing his Master's thesis and is always up for a cosy film night or a sociable beer in the city. He is a passionate DJ and regularly organises parties with friends at Hotel Europa. There's always something going on with Tim and he brings a good mood to the flat share!

Bibhuti: The quiet cook! Bibhuti has been in the shared flat since last November and is also studying for a Master's degree at RWTH. He is a very pleasant flatmate who enjoys cooking and spoils the flatmates with his culinary skills. Bibhuti is the perfect person to talk to when things need to be a little quieter.

Spontaneous flat share evenings:

We usually plan our flat-share evenings spontaneously and informally. The best moments often happen when we meet by chance in the flat or when we cook together in the kitchen. Of course, we also have a cleaning plan to keep our shared flat clean and cosy. The most important thing in shared flat living for us has always been to address any problems directly, as we want everyone to feel comfortable here :)

For the kitchen, two shelves, a table and a desk chair there is a surcharge of 150€.
